FILES
RECEIVING DEPARTMENT
You can deliver your prepared files to us in person or upload them
to out FTP Server. Once our Receiving Department has verified your
order, it is sent directly to our Pre-Press Department.
It is very important to prepare your files according to our specifications.
Please make sure that you review our section PREPARING YOUR FILES
prior to submitting your order.

FTP SITE
You can now submit your files to our FTP site. Please call us to
set you up.
PREPARING YOUR
FILES
1. A .25 inch border containing no live area (mission critical text
and graphics) MUST be allowed for cutting.
2. The size of the printed piece will be the document size listed
under Page Setup in the application program.
3. Front and Back of document should be setup as two separate pages,
do not create both sides in a single file.
4. Files should be setup at a minimum of 300dpi resolution.
5. Files must be saved in CMYK format.
6. All solid Black areas should be composed as a combination of
C 60%, M 60%, Y 60%, and K 100%.
7. All type (fonts) MUST be converted to outlines (paths).
8. We support the following file formats:
Adobe Photoshop (.psd) - FLATTENED
Adobe Illustrator (.ai or .eps) - Fonts converted to outlines
Adobe InDesign (.indd) Exported as a PDF
Adobe PageMaker (.pmd) Exported as a PDF
We also accept the standard industry formats:
.eps .pdf .tif .jpeg
SUPPORTED APPLICATIONS
Adobe Illustrator / Freehand
We accept versions older than 8.0. Save all placed (embedded) images
as 300 DPI CMYK TIFF files (no LZW). If the files are linked and
not embedded you need to send the linked files along with your Adobe
Illustrator files.
Create outlines on all text, or include all printer and screen fonts.
Include all styles (regular, bold, italic, bold italic).
Adobe Photoshop
Not recommended for art with small text. We cannot work with web
graphics. Web art resolution (72 dpi) too low resolution to print
a quality product.
Save as .eps .jpg or .tif.
Scan original at anticipated output size.
300 dpi for color.
600 - 1200 dpi for black and white.
Convert color files to CMYK mode.
CorelDRAW
Include all page layout files -.cdr
Include all art support files -.tif or .eps
Export as Illustrator for Mac - Convert text to
curves turn on simulate complex filled curves.
Included a printed hard copy.
